Ronald Evans is a professional photojournalist in Broome County, Binghamton NY & surrounding communities. Ronald is also a member of the New York Press Association (NYPA). Ronald covers local news, sports and special events and is published weekly in various newspapers & web sites across Broome County and New York State. Ronald also works for Lifetouch Sports covering school, local event & sports team photography all over NYS. As a professional I make time to perfect my art and never misses an opportunity to educate myself on the latest photographic techniques or the newest technology. My goal is striving to give my customers the best service and photography I can provide.

When i started out in this field i was a fashion & glamour photographer (Ronald Evans Photography) with a good part of my training and work in and around NYC & Philly. I worked with and had my basic training with some of the best photographers in the area's of lighting, working with Models, Make up / Hair Artists and the photography Business as a whole. I did this for a few years making lots of friends in the fashion & glamour world. I had the great pleasure of working with hundreds of models ranging from local models just starting out to professional models from all over the world. I mostly do this type of work out of my home town of Binghamton NY now with anyone interested in this profession.
A few years back friend of mine asked me to take some shots at a event she was heading, it was a Cancer Run for a local charity. Never doing anything like this before i said yes thinking it would be a lot of fun and the event was for a great cause and hitting home with me very much so. It was a great time getting action shots of all the runners and the side shots of the people cheering them on. It was something completely different and exhilarating. A day after the event i was called by one of the local news papers asking if they could purchase some of the photos that I had taken at the event. Shortly after my shots were in the newspaper I was offered a job at the newspaper as a press photographer. I work for them as a staff photojournalist to this day covering local news, sports and special events. It was about a year after i was working for the newspapers my editor was called by Lifetouch Sports a very large national company, they were looking for some photos i had taken at a event that they needed. I sent them what i had and with in a few days i was called and asked to be part of their staff as a sports & event photographer. I continue to work for Lifetouch Sports to this day. This is when (Rsportspics.com) was born.
Having two very different fields of photography one being portrait, fashion & glamour and the other sports, news, events and photojournalistic. I came up with two names to make it easy depending on what type of photography you're looking for.
I believe in the quality of our images, we use only the very best Cannon Professional equipment and the latest in imaging software for the best possible image quality.
